The city of Indianapolis is home to prestigious sporting events and venues. From the Greatest Spectacle in Racing to the home of Super Bowl XLVI, the city is rich with tradition. The newest addition to the Indianapolis sports culture is Georges Niang. The Indiana Pacers drafted Niang with their second round pick in Thursday's NBA draft. Niang is from New Hampshire, but he became a star as a basketball player for the Iowa State University Cyclones. According to the Office of the Registrar, Iowa State University's enrollment has increased by nearly 9,000 students since 2006.
